"Think of the purest, most all-consuming love you can imagine. Now multiply that love by an infinite amount--that is the measure of God's love for you....What this means is that, regardless of our current state, there is hope for us. No matter our distress, no matter our sorrow, no matter our mistakes, our infinitely compassionate Heavenly Father desires that we draw near to Him so that He can draw near to us."

Being a Latter-day Saint
"If someone is looking for a church that requires very little, this is not the one. It is not easy to be a Latter-day Saint, but in the long run it is the only true course."
My Hope Blog is a sight where I keep quotes, talks, stories, and anything else that has uplifted my spirit. It is a place where I can visit to help me remember the purpose of my life and the central part my Savior, Jesus Christ plays in it. I have a testimony that God lives. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ atoned for our sins and through Him, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father after this life. I have a testimony that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith when he was 14 and through Joseph Smith, the Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth today. I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is from our Heavenly Father. As I have read it and prayed about it, I know it is true and it solidifies in my mind that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God because he brought forth the Book of Mormon. I have a testimony that we have a living Prophet on the earth today. These truths are the foundation for my life. Life is full of challenges though--and I need lots of reminders of how my Savior can help me through those hard times. My testimony gives me hope of being able to stand with my Savior once again.
"And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." 2 Nephi 25:26
